Catholic Vocations Ministry Australia commissioned the Pastoral Research Office to undertake a study of the characteristics of those who had entered religious life to gain an understanding of what attracted them to that life and why they chose to stay. The study also examined the characteristics and strategies of organisations which successfully attracted and retained new members.
